Technical design of an IH-type buncher for KoBRA at RAON

چکیده

Abstract To satisfy the beam requirement of KoBRA experiment (0.5 nsec in 1σ), rebunching is required energy range up to 15 A MeV and for particles with an A/q from 1 7. In cooperation IBS Hanmac Corporation, BEVATECH proposed a five-gap IH-buncher cavity which has excellent bunching properties 5 MeV/u. Main challenges this project are wide CW operation at RF power levels 20 kW. The will offer effective voltage amplitude MV. provide cooling channels efficiency, stems drifttubes be 3D printed. This paper discuss technical design approach give status on development buncher cavity.
